Verbatim Liquid Photopolymer - Selection Guide
Verbatim liquid photopolymers provide outstanding print quality on a wide variety of substrates. Key features include a dry printing surface for clean printing and superior ink transfer. Verbatim photopolymers are cost effective and offer a number of environmental benefits. To help you choose the photopolymer best suited to your needs, this Selection Guide provides a brief description of Chemence's standard liquid products. Further down on this page is a Compatibility and Performance Chart to further assist you.
25C & 32C: Our premier plate for corrugated, available in two durometers, 25 and 32 Shore A. Especially suited for natural kraft corrugated boards with wide flute lines. Unrivaled ink transfer prints type, bar codes, and solids without pin-holing or cupping. Excellent resilience properties allow for high press speeds. Unique ability to be post exposed with UV-B light renders the plates completely tack free throughout press runs. Can be used with our capping resins for even greater image enhancement.
50C: Use 50C for high quality multiwall bag, preprint liner, and flexible packaging applications. Low surface tack and high resilience means less press stops for cleaning and faster run speeds. Wide exposure latitude makes imaging fine line and halftone art an easy process. Combine with use of capping resins for images that greatly reduce press gain.
FLEXSTAMP 40 & 50: Available in a 40 or 50 Shore A durometer, Flexstamp is primarily designed for handstamp applications. Fast, easy platemaking combined with environmentally friendly processing make Flexstamp ideal for stamp, tag, and label needs. Compatible with both oil- and water-based inks.
MR2003: A fast and economical alternative to conventional rubber molding masters. MR2003 actually increases your graphics capability while reducing costs. Wide exposure latitude provides excellent reverse depth. Easy release from molds and high heat resistance allow for multiple uses. Durometer of 42 - 48 Shore D.
CAPPING RESINS: Used in combination with Verbatim photopolymers. Adding a thin layer of capping resin to your plate cast will enhance graphics quality. Reverses become deeper and dot gain on press is greatly reduced. Talk to a Letterflex representative to find out which capping resin is right for your needs.
