Compressible Mounting Systems - PSA
Rogers PSA materials are compressible, high density microcellular urethane mounting products with pressure sensitive adhesives designed for attaching flexographic printing plates to cylinders. A thin polyester support layer is on the plate side for reinforcement and stability during pate mounting and repositioning. Different adhesive tack levels are designed to accommodate various types of plate materials. Product color designates the strength of tack level.
Gray - Low Tack - For use with photopolymer plates. Less aggressive adhesive to bond photopolymer plates to foam, but allows a clean non-residue release for demounting.
Blue - Medium Tack - Designed for mounting photopolymer plates where added adhesion is required.
Black - High Tack - An aggressive adhesive that is designed for use with rubber plates. Not recommended for photopolymer plates.
PSA - 2 - Adhesive coating on both sides of the compressible cellular foam. Rubber based adhesive of varying levels for the different plate types to be mounted.

PSA - 1 - Pressure sensitive adhesive coated on one surface designed for application to the plate. The smooth non-adhesive surface will accept normal stickyback tapes when applied to cylinders.
