Statistical Process Control

Econo Products, Inc. is committed to supply you with the highest quality products, best service, at the most competitive prices possible. Along with each of you we have become very aware of the quality requirements of our industry.

Econo has implemented a Statistical Process Control, (S.P.C.), program at our four warehouse locations. This program consists of the following procedures.

Matrix: The raw materials used to manufacture Econo matrix, are tested "in house" to guarantee that each ingredient meets our specifications before the manufacturing process begins. All stocks of raw materials are rotated to assure freshness.

A sheet from each batch of finished matrix is tested for durometer at various preheat times, to make sure each grade softens properly at our recommended preheat time. Molds are then made using the appropriate master, (metal, photopolymer, etc.), to assure moldability, release, reproduction of the original and cure time. Before, and after, weight tests are made to gauge volitals in the raw sheet. The test molds are then used to mold rubber plates to determine shrink, collapse, and general plate moldability. This last test also lets us evaluate the molds reproduction capabilities, rubber release and mold life.

Warehouse Locations: All stock is rotated and tracked by computer to assure freshness. Each order is checked after it is pulled to determine accuracy of grades and amounts as well as the quality of packaging. Truck lines are checked and graded for promptness and shipment condition.
